Promoting Real Estate Via Agriculture

Less than 10% of Americans are farmers and they are able to meet their food needs while over 60% of Nigerians are farmers and yet bulk of our food content are imported even from neighbouring countries.
This suggests that meeting our food needs isn't just about how many farmers we have but how many effective ones we have.

Recently I met a real estate consultant who focuses majorly on agriculture and I interacted with him to know more about his idea. He told me of how he go about his marketing by informing his prospective clients of what they can use their land for which will yield more than they can ever imagine. For instance,
Cashew:
It is possible to buy an expanse of farmland at a very cheap price and plant the most dominant and most viable crop in the area on it. All you require is to get a farm manager who takes commission based on profit to handle it for you. Based on what I have seen and heard, cashew sale has a potential of over five billion naira in trade volume annually in Oyo state alone. In essence, your land value is appreciating and your crops are yielding profits
Oil Palm / Cocoa
With the advent of improved seedlings, getting returns from oil palm and cocoa doesn't take eternity again. Actually, you can intercrop the cash crops with short time crops that will generate income for farm maintenance. As years go by, the land appreciates and your farm brings exceeding profits.

You are just a phone call away from having a viable and sustainable investment in agriculture.
